Transition to Solids Therapy Sessions- $125

Individualized therapy sessions designed to support development of chewing skills, food exploration, oral motor coordination, sensory tolerance, and positive mealtime experiences.

 

Sessions are tailored to each child’s developmental and feeding needs and may address:

  • gagging or difficulty managing textures

  • limited variety of accepted foods

  • difficulty chewing

  • oral motor weakness or incoordination

  • sensory aversions related to feeding

  • transitioning from breast/bottle to age-appropriate solids

Includes:

  • 45–60 minute therapy session

  • caregiver coaching and education

  • individualized home recommendations

  • ongoing progress monitoring

Transition to Solids Evaluation- $200

A comprehensive feeding evaluation focused on helping infants and toddlers develop safe, functional, and positive experiences with solid foods. Sessions assess oral motor skills, chewing patterns, sensory responses to food, feeding readiness, and overall mealtime participation. This evaluation is appropriate for children experiencing difficulty progressing to solids, limited food acceptance, gagging, food refusal, oral motor weakness, or sensory-related feeding challenges.

Includes:

  • 60–90 minute evaluation

  • Assessment of oral motor and feeding skills

  • Observation of mealtime/feeding when appropriate

  • Caregiver education and coaching

  • Individualized recommendations and home strategies

  • Written plan of care

Initial Infant Feeding Evaluation- $200

A comprehensive evaluation focused on breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding, oral motor function, feeding efficiency, and overall feeding development. Sessions include parent interview, observation of a feeding, assessment of oral structures and function, caregiver education, and individualized recommendations with a written plan of care.

Includes:

  • 60–90 minute evaluation

  • Feeding/oral motor assessment

  • Parent education and coaching

  • Written recommendations

  • Coordination/Referral recommendations when appropriate

Infant Feeding Therapy Sessions- $125

Individualized therapy sessions (after initial evaluation) focused on improving feeding skills, caregiver confidence, oral motor function, feeding efficiency, and progression toward established feeding goals.

Sessions may address:

  • breastfeeding or bottle feeding difficulties

  • oral motor coordination

  • positioning and pacing

  • oral tension and mobility

  • transition to solids

  • chewing and feeding skill development

  • pre/post frenectomy support

Includes:

  • 45–60 minute session

  • hands-on caregiver coaching

  • updated home recommendations

  • progress monitoring

Virtual Consultation- $80

A virtual parent consultation when appropriate for follow-up support, feeding questions, developmental guidance, review of concerns, or determining whether a full evaluation is recommended.

Includes:

  • 30–45 minute virtual consultation

  • caregiver education

  • individualized recommendations

  • guidance on next steps when appropriate

Little Beginnings Feeding & Development operates as a self-pay practice. This allows families to access services without delays related to insurance authorization. A superbill can be provided for families seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Discounted self-pay rates are available for patients with Medicaid and WIC as well as teachers and active duty militiary.

Every child’s feeding needs are unique. Recommendations regarding frequency and duration of therapy are individualized based on evaluation findings and family goals.
